How Apple Find My smart tags work

How Google Find Hub tracker tags work
Google Find Hub is the Android alternative. A compatible tracker connects to your Android phone and can use Google’s finding network to help locate an item. As with Apple’s system, you can ring a nearby tag and check its reported location when it is farther away.
Before ordering, check that your Android phone and software support Google Find Hub and that the product listing specifically states Google Find Hub compatibility. A tag that merely works with a separate Android app is not necessarily a Google Find Hub tag.

Can one smart tag work with both?
