How dual-network tracking works

For iPhone users

Set up the tracker using the Apple Find My app and locate it alongside your other Find My items.

For Android users

Set up the tracker using Google Find Hub on a compatible Android device.

One network at a time

A dual-network tracker cannot be registered with Apple Find My and Google Find Hub simultaneously. To change ecosystem, remove it from the current account, reset the tracker according to its instructions and complete setup with the other network.

Important to know

These are Bluetooth network trackers rather than continuous live-GPS devices.

When an item is away from your phone, its location can be updated when it is detected by compatible participating devices in the Apple Find My or Google Find Hub network. Update frequency depends on nearby network devices and is not guaranteed to be continuous.

Do I need to pay a subscription?

No. Oscanna dual-network trackers do not require a monthly tracking subscription.

Can the same tracker work with either an iPhone or Android phone?

Yes. A dual-network model can be set up with Apple Find My or Google Find Hub, but it uses only one network at a time.

Can I switch from Apple to Android later?

Yes. You will need to remove the tracker from the current account, reset it and set it up again on the other network. Follow the instructions supplied for your particular model.

Is this the same as a live GPS tracker?

No. These products use Apple’s or Google’s participating device network to report detected locations. They do not contain a continuous mobile-data GPS connection.

Which tracker should I choose?

Choose the Mini USB-C model if you want a small rechargeable tracker. Choose the Dual-Network Tracker Tags if you need a 2-pack or 4-pack. Choose the E-Ink model for luggage and visible identification, or select the holder version when secure attachment is particularly important.
